Blogs that a Student of SMM should Follow…

I suggest that my new social media marketing class start following some blogs immediately. Below is my current list – any suggestions for improvement?

  1. Social Media Explorer
  2. Hubspot Inbound Marketing Blog
  3. Mashable Social Media
  4. Technorati Blog
  5. All Facebook
  6. Social Media Marketing Magazine
  7. Grow! from Mark Schaefer
  8. RU SMM Class Facebook Page
  9. My blog

I want to keep the list to a manageable size but want them to get information they needs to be social media savvy. Again suggestions solicited!!

Recently I have been following Simply Zesty – http://www.simplyzesty.com – it is a good source of news related to Social Media, plus case studies and discussions of how particular technical features may be of use to businesses.

  6. Great List! But, instead of being one of them, I think the several contributors of Maximize Social Business #MSB (ex-Windmill Networkings), from Neal Schaffer’s blog could appear on your list

  7. Hi, i read your blog occasionally and i own a similar one
and i was just curious if you get a lot of spam remarks?
If so how do you protect against it, any plugin or anything you can advise?
I get so much lately it’s driving me mad so any help is very much appreciated.

Internet marketing has become a complicated discipline that involves a great
deal of theoretical knowledge in combination with applied techniques.
Before engaging an online marketing consultant therefore, make sure they have all of these
skills and more, in order for them to offer you a great value proposition.
Once you have unveiled your web campaign function,
keep track of how guests respond on blogs or other social network sites.
